Autobahn is a product of one of the most significant motherlines in Holstein, stamm 776, which has produced more than 90 approved stallions and many international sporthorses. Both his sire, Acorado I, and his dam, Havel, originate from this legendary motherline as does the Eurostallion, Ramiro. Autobahn's sire, Acorado I, won the 1997 Adelheidsdorf stallion performance test twice receiving 10s for his exceptional jumping ability. In 1999 and 2000, he qualified and competed in the Bundeschampionat. Unfortunately, Acorado I died before meeting his full potential, but leaves behind almost 20 approved sons to continue his legacy. Autobahn's second sire, Acord II, a stallion performance test winner and vice-champion at the Bundeschampionat, has proven to be a premium hereditary transmitter by leading the FN breeding value rating for showjumping numerous times. Acorado I's dam, Doreen XIII, produced two approved sons, Acorado I and Acorado II. Her sire, Corrado I, was an international showjumping success with numerous approved sons. Her second sire, Ramiro, not only produced legends in the international showjumping ring, but also sired more than 60 approved sons. Autobahn's dam, Havel, was sired by renowned stallion, Lord. His second dam, Santa Fee, is a sister to three approved stallions - Corea, Cotopaxi, and Louis J. Santa Fee is also the dam of Balalaika, dam of the approved stallion, Aconti, who was also sired by Acorado I.
